The way we communicate on a daily basis has gone from a letter to a phone call to an email and now to the quick and painless text. Anyway, if you're anything like me as soon as you get to work, you clean out your email inbox. Now usually it's a simple browse and reply method that I go through, but lately I've been seeing some very EXCITING emails from:
You guessed it!!! Someone I dont know!! Usually telling me I won $46,000,000.00 or some other RIDICULOUS ass number...
These emails almost always say the same thing or something to the topic of:
I HAVE SUCCEEDED IN CARRYING THE FOUR METAL BOXES OUT OF THE COUNTRY, WITH THE AID OF SOME TOP GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL, WHO STILL SHOW SYMPATHY TO MY FAMILY, TO A NEIGHBOURING COUNTRY (ACCRA-GHANA) TO BE PRECISE. I PRAY YOU WOULD HELP US IN GETTING THIS MONEY TRANSFERRED OVER TO YOUR COUNTRY. EACH OF THESE METAL BOXES CONTAINS US$5,000,000.00 (FIVE MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS ONLY) AND TOGETHER THESE FOUR BOXES CONTAIN US20,000,000.00(TWENTY MILLION UNITED STATESDOLLARS ONLY). THIS IS ACTUALLY WHAT WE HAVE MOVED TO GHANA.

Now I have NO IDEA how people actually fall for this, but apparently it's a real deal scam goin on and people get duped... I know they say scared money don't make money but how you gonna make me give you a few hundred thousands to get a few million? that just seems DUMB AS FOCK!! I mean really there are like 30 words misspelled. I would think I reputable person or company would spellcheck their emails before they tell you they got that guap for you...SMH...

Just like the people who really thought Ed Mcmahon was gonna knock on their door and tell them they won the publisher's Clearinghouse... :-/ that shyt had old follks mailing in these little ass stamps and buying encyclopedias...yeah I know cuz I had a 1 day summer job opening envelopes for that shyt... (YES I QUIT IMMEDIATELY) but Come on people if it sounds too good to be true, it most certainly always is! you have a better chance beating a midget in a 3 point shooting competition than you do getting any free money!
